Timeshare scams ? - Mirror Marketing

Question: Her downstairs had a call tonight from these folk telling her
that she had won seventh prize in a survey competition.
Well trained, she said it's timeshare, isn't it; but the
droid at the other end was emphatic that it wasn't.
She gave her an 0800 number to ring tomorrow to be
given details of the prize - either a Brittany Ferries
mini-cruise, or a UK holiday.
It does sound aweful like timeshare - has anyone else
had one of these and with what result. Please reply
Answer: I had a call this am from someone "conducting a survey",,I did answer a few
holiday questions...thats a laugh for a start..because I don't take
holidays....anyway...I answered them as though speaking for hubby.....at the
end of his questions he said the answers would be used to help companies in the
travel business..I said " as long as you dont give them to Time Share scammers!
his reply was..."did I mention timeshare"...very touchy subject with him I
think....so I just repeated my comment about timeshare and put the phone
down...
