Question: I'm having difficulty finding the rescission period of a deeded
timeshare rentals in Florida. Would someone be so kind as to post a
link outlining the rescission period, and the proper procedure for
cancelling the contract? A family member recently rent into a
timeshare and is regretting it.
Thanks in advance.
Answer: Unless the state has other laws that take precedence.
Your family member should consult a florida real estate attorney
right away. The recission period, if it exists at all, is bound to be
very short. Nothing official, but 15 days and 10 days are mentioned here.
You should read the contract and get real advice, pronto.
