About Timeshare Industry

Question:

I like driving cool cars, but I get tired of a car after a few months and I'd like to drive something else. I have a 740 il and it's a great car, but... There must be a lot of people like me that would be willing to pay $500-1000 a month to be able to trade off more frequently. Every time you go to a dealer you get killed on both sides of the transaction. How about a pool of leased cars, Lexus, Vettes, Porshes, Bmws, Jags, etc. all under warranty and you trade off through some kind of broker. Not unlike the timeshare industry does with vacation property.

It seems like some variation of this theme could work. If anyone knows of such an organization, let me know.

Answer:

I'm sure I heard about something like this (it may have been in a UK car magazine). I don't remember much (price was well out of my league!). I vaguely remember the idea was that you paid a monthly fee and built up a pool of points with different cars and different times costing different amounts - there were performance cars and performance bikes too. An interesting idea if you've got money to burn.
