Question: I am hoping to make a timeshare exchange for a July week in the Caribbean with
my family (3 kids-ages 8-15). I'm currently favoring Morritt's Tortuga Club in
Grand Caymen, Chenay Bay resort in St. Croix, Windjammer Landing in St. Lucia,
or the Westin St. John. Any pros and cons on these or any other condos within
the RCI network would be appreciated. Thanks.
Answer: I'm familiar with the Morritt's in Cayman.Never stayed there but have
been there. It is a very nice place and all the post I've read all have
good things to say. This complex is located on a isolated part of the
island. It is a 45min to a 1 hour drive to town.Unless you want to spend
all your time there you need to rent a car. Not much shopping
nearby.Only a couple of small stores. You need to go to town for this. If
you want quiet this is the plac This is a little off the area that you are looking at, but two years ago I
took my daughter to Playa del Carmen, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico's
Yucatan peninsula. We stayed at the Sun Club Continental Plaza Playacar
on an RCI exchange, in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen (sleeps 6). It
was really a lovely resort, and there was a lot of stuff for the family to
do. She was 12 at the time, and has fond memories of the trip.
