Timeshare brokers - ERA Stroman
|
Question: Any suggestions about Timeshare brokers - ERA Stroman ? Thanks for your reply
Answer: For those owners of timeshare properties that are interested in selling,
do not use Brokers that charge an up-front advertising fee. One such
broker is ERA Stroman. I was contacted by them to sell my 1 week
floating week. They really sold me on their capabilites and recommended
the price to sell it. They also charged $489 for (non-refundable)
advertising fee. After 5 months, I did not hear a thing. I then called
them back inquring. A broker then told me that she thought the property
was overpriced. I then lowered it by $650.00. I still have not heard
anything from them. I have never had 1 offer in 9 months of listing.
The only one selling anything was ERA Stroman and their $489 advertising
fee. Search the NET and you will find other brokers only charging when
they sell. In my search of properties listed on the NET, I have
determined that my property is still overpriced. I found it out! ERA
Stroman has never told me or advised me of that.
