Sunterra timeshare scheme
|
Question: We have just returned from a week in Majorca. We got the holiday by
returning coupons in the TVTimes last Christmas and paying £30. It turned
out to be a Sunterra resort. We were asked by the Sunterra rep to attend a
meeting to explain about the Sunterra timeshare scheme - this took nearly a
whole day.
To cut a long story short we agreed to buy 10,000 points for just over £13K
but only because we have a two week cooling off period in which we can
cancel.
Can any members or others who have had experiences withthis company advise
whether we should go ahead with the purchase or pull out.
All comments welcome.
Many thanks
Answer: Try reading some of this
http://www.crimeshare.net/21.html NO do not buy unless you are way to wealthy to even bother what you have to
pay in hidden costs.
My partner used to work as a securty guard at a place one of the "Sunterra"
weekend holiday sales team rented and they used to tell him all sorts of
things. All in all its one big con.
