Marriott's Vacation Club (timeshare) plan

Question: Please, someone tell us either that this is a sham and we should avoid it, or
that this is the best thing since sliced bread and you want the phone number!
I don't care which response you give, but I'm interested in clear opinions!
I don't work for Marriott, and all disclaimers apply. In fact, I'd be happy
to be told to run far away from this deal as long as you support it with some
real facts about problems or dangers.
Has anyone heard of Marriott's Vacation Club (timeshare) plan? We looked at
the plan and it sounds interesting, tempting, etc
Answer: I have many friends who own timeshares and love them for their family
vacations. I would shop a couple of other places before handing over any
cash...try www.minivac.com they offer access to multiple timeshare
companies.
