Question: I need to know what to look out for in a holiday timeshare. My wife and
I nearly bought a Hilton Timeshare, and we may still. What should
be be careful of, and what should we look for? We're teachers, we
love to travel, and we have a wide range from June-july-august of dates
to work with. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Answer: If you want to use your timeshare in other locations, get one that
belongs to RCI (Resorts Condominiums International) or other vacation
exchange program so you can trade your usage throughout the world.
Also consider how you would dispose of your timeshare when you want to
sell it.
You may want to check out Holiday Timeshare Services web page. They sell
discount Timeshare properties (foreclosed, repo'd and secondary market).
I compared their prices to other timeshare listings on-line and they beat
'em by a fairly wide margin.
