Ramada Plaza - a timeshare resorts give free 2 nights stay in Ft. Lauderdale ?

Question:

Has anyone heard about a company called RPR vacations? They may also be known as Ramada Plaza is a timeshare resorts. They give you a gift certificate for a free 2 nights stay in Ft. Lauderdale, a 2 day cruise in the Bahamas . This sounds too good to be true! As someone ever received such a certificate? What's the catch with this offer?

Answer:

These free "vacations" involved many fees. Go to my web site and read about them in the "News" section. Several State's Attorney Generals have been after them.
Yeah, I have received well over a dozen of them. You want one? Yes, it is too good to be true. You get to stay at a one or two star hotel that they want to sell to you as a timeshare, you have to put up with place, listen to their sales pitch, pay high food costs if you are crazy enough to eat there, and the "cruise" is nothing more than a ferryboat ride to the Bahamas, and not a very nice one at that. It isn't cruising by any means. Cruising is where you can unpack your things and relax and have everything you want and be pampered.
