Has anyone tried a free timeshare presentation holiday?

Question: I am wondering whether anyone has tried one of those free timeshare
presentation holidays?
This is how they work:
- You are responsible for your own airline booking arrangements although
you are not bound to fly with any particular airline.
- There is an administration fee of £x payableon booking.
- The accommodation is free and your only obligatin is to attend a no
obligation presentation on the benefits of owning a share in one of the
vacation apartments.
Any experiences at all? And if so, how hard is the sales pitch?!
Answer: Avoid them like the plague!
They tie you to a chair and don't let you out for days!
That's because half of them are too embarrassed to talk about it, and the
other half don't come back at all ..
