Disney Vacation Club Timeshare info
|
Question: How does Disney Vacation Club solicit for timeshare sales? Do you get
approached like the other timeshare sales along the Kissimee strip? Do
they give free tickets to attractions like other timeshare sales
organizations?
Answer: I don't know about the strip in Kissimee, but they have a booth just about
everywhere you turn in WDW. There's a booth in the Village Marketplace, in
all of the parks, in resort lobbys and I think there might have even been
one at the gate to MK. I do think the one on Main Street was done in good
taste, you almost have to look for it, but the some of the other ones
kinda' break the magic and remind you that it's not really
Disney's(read:Walt's) World anymore, it's Esiner's Profit World. I think all of the DVC booths are low-key. There is absolutely no pressure,
no hard-sell like other timeshare sales. I liked being able to browse the
notebooks, maps, etc. at my leisure without the sales hosts hovering over me.
I felt it was all done in good taste. That's part of the reason I'm now a
very satisfied owner.
