Best way to sell a Timeshare?
|
Question: I have a 1 week deeded Timeshare in Del Mar/Solana Beach California.
What is the best way of selling it? I would prefer a traditional real estate
transaction thorugh an Escrow company; not one that requires any UP FRONT fees.
Answer: Here my thought 1. Before listing, make inquiries as a potential buyer. This will show
you what type of effort will be made in marketing your listing. 2. Avoid paying an up front commission -- offer a larger commission
after the sale is complete. This is a deal no legitimate broker would
pass up. 3. Seriously consider the management's offer if you really want out. (This may be hard to do -- being "taken" twice by them, but it is a
clear path out and gives you a basis to compare your other options to)
