Has anyone ever been on a timeshare tour in Paradise Island or Atlantis

Question:

Has anyone ever been on a timeshare tour in Paradise Island or Atlantis, and did they tie you up and beat you into submission? My husband has come up with the crazy idea that HE wants to do this, but only if the offer something good (Like a free timeshare unit, as far as I'm concerned--Oceanfront), anyway I said I'd ask.

Does anyone stand at the end of the pier and say Hey mon can we show you dis wonderful resort and give you lunch and $75.00 for your time, braid your hair, and have you back before de ship leaves?

Answer:

We foolishly went to one shortly after we were married. Our 90 minute pitch lasted almost three hours. Finally the salesman asked "what's it going to take for you to sign?" At which point I loudly said "get on your knees and blow me". For a second I thought he was going to reach for the ChapStik. We got our clock radio and left. Radio lasted a week.We foolishly went to one shortly after we were married. Our 90 minute pitch lasted almost three hours. Finally the salesman asked "what's it going to take for you to sign?" How's your sales resistance? And I don't mean the common ordinary sales persons approach either. These timeshare people are very skilled and if you are a bit weak while listening to them, you might end up with more than you planned on.
